Hello all, 

I just bought Unraid after watching Linus Tech tips video from a few years back. Looks really cool. But My problem is that I can't activate my copy that I just bought off the website. I have it up and running but can't seen to find this activation link I need. I just created my account I am typing this message with. brand new to Unraid never used it or even heard of it till I watched that video.

 

Running ver 6.9.2 

if someone can help me fix this issue that would be awesome.

If the email didn't arrive, then contact support  https://unraid.net/contact with the details (attach invoice etc)

Thanks Andrew. not yet no activation email. should I wait a bit longer ? I only just purchased Unirad about half an hour go or so. I will contact the team via email with my invoice.

Should be there.  Check junk / spam folders.  If not, contact us.

Nope I just checked my Spam folder didn't see it so I just sent an email.

I don't see or understand where I have to put this activation code. if I copy paste it into the redeem activation code box below the different options on the front page it says there's too many devices to activate basic. I find the Instructions very confusing and see nothing on whatever GUI is mentioned it's not an option for me or don't know where it's located. 

 

Seems like you bought the Basic licence but you have more than 6 storage devices in your system. You may have to remove some storage devices or upgrade to the Plus licence for 12 storage devices or the Pro licence for unlimited storage devices
