kizer
I know this isn't 100% storage related, but I'm working on a network for a buddy and they currently can not connect their desktop to their server via a wire. Does anybody have any recommendations to hook up wirelessly? I'm picking them up a Wireless N/Gigabit Switch, but want to give them access to their unRAID machine. I'm tinkering around on NewEgg and I'm finding wireless adapters, but I figured why not see what you guys recommend or have used. Quote Link to comment
DoeBoye
I just picked one up from Newegg for my laptop, but might not be suitable for a desktop (No external antennas etc. I figure if portability isn't an issue, may as well get a bigger guy with better reception). In my searches for a good adapter, however, I came across some sold by Monoprice that seem to get excellent reviews. You might want to check them out... (And dirt cheap!) Quote Link to comment
Whaler_99
I use this one on three different systems. With the 5Ghz, can stream HD content as well. Shawn Quote Link to comment
Userpaul
I had a similar question a while back and a few of the guys here recomended this :- D-Link DIR-655 Wireless-N Gigabit Cable --- http://www.ebuyer.com/product/128049. Work from day one and has a great range and no issues with signal. Quote Link to comment
