Johnm Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 I just tried to run the included memtest with 5.0 beta6a on my new motherboard (SUPERMICRO MBD-X9SCM-F-O LGA 1155 Intel C204) and it had a seizure. I manually upgraded to V4.20 and it is now working fine. A little something to consider for the next beta. **unrelated to unraid** Also, I don't know your opinion on this, I pulled my drive cages out for the test. I'm not sure what the factory spindown time is on my drives. but i noticed on pass 2, i was still pulling 130+watts. after a shutdown and cold pull of the drives, I restarted test and i am running at 60 watts. if I'm going to run this test for he next 24+ hours, ill try and save a few pennies. although i would assume they would have slept on their own.
