Quite a few errors & minor issues "afpd[1720]: WARNING"

Featured Replies

Hi guys, got some errors for you to look into!

Connected to a 2009 Mac Pro via ethernet @ gigabit speeds.

Every so often when accessing the Time Machine drive it will pop up saying the Server has shut down.

This could be a few seconds after a backup has been initiated with the Time Machine share mounted (but not the sparseimage) or half way through a backup.

A snippet of the error log is as follows:

I have attached the system log, what other information would you like?

Anybody any ideas?

Thanks,

CR.

I've noticed the same issue. I think TimeMachine tries to re-auth to AFP and netatalk freaks out.

There is probably going to have to be an update to netatalk in one of the next releases as the current version used does not support Lion.
