April 29, 20224 yr Hi Guys been using Unraid for many Years but i need to ask if nobody have asked. Please ad drive encryption to the list. I have 6 drives but non is encrypted and taking or moving all the data of the drive just to encrypt the drives well that will take forever. would be nice to have a plugin or native support to get the drive encrypted Thanks.

April 29, 20224 yr Yes, sorry, missed that part, current encryption implementation requires re-formatting the device.

April 29, 20224 yr If I remember right, Tom had mentioned looking into it, around the time of release originally. Haven't heard anything about it since though.

Windows does file by file, you can choose to encrypt just one file. Unraid (linux LUKS) encrypts the whole drive.
