Power Usage of Nvidia Quadro P620 in nvidia-smi

Hi there,

 

my question relates to power readings from nvidia-smi. Currently, I'm running a Nvidia Quadro P620 with the newest driver from the nvidia driver plugin (great work btw). In general, it all works fine! Transcoding for Jellyfin and tdarr works and the card also enters persistence mode when idle. No complaints so far.

What bothers me a bit, is that my graphics card won't output power reading informations through nvidia-smi. I'm currently not aware if the Nvidia Quadro P620 is just not capabale of doing so, or if there's some issue going on.

This is a known issue but nothing you or I can do about that because basically Nvidia breaks some readings for cards in each new version from the driver and so to speak nvidia-smi.

 

Even if the card can report it it won't show up because it is broken in nvidia-smi and it will get worse over time with each new driver revision released because if they fix it for one card it breaks for another one.

 

My Nvidia T400 also doesn't report the currently drawn power and this is a "new" card.
