Plex, Sonarr, Radarr, SabNZB - intial setup issues

Featured Replies

Hey all !! im new here and have recently installed the trial of unraid on my diy nas box. I want to mention right away that this is my first time playing with unraid and docker in general so i may ask some nooby questions lol Got all my disks mounted and created a few shares. I seem to be having issues with the setup of sonarr, radarr and sabnzb along with plex and had a few question.

First, should all apps/images/containers be from the same author for the sake of mappings? The reason why im asking is because i tried a test where i sent a show from sonarr to sab and it downloaded it but i couldnt see it in any shares. Also something seems off since when im trying to add root folders to sonarr and radarr, i select the path /mnt/user/media/TV but it never gets added. In my media share, i have folders for movies, tv and downloads as well as incomplete (for incomplete downloads). I'm not sure what im missing here. The images i was using were the official plex, and for sonarr radarr and sab, i mixed them either from linuxserver or binhex. Is this wrong? Should i not be mixing?

I'm a little lost in all this. I've followed guides from spaceinvader1 and dbtech and a few others on  youtube, as well as on this forum. I just cant seem to get it all working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Mixing isn't a problem, but might have some effect on common code reuse between containers.

I suspect your main problem is not understanding volume mapping. Another thing you need to consider is how these containers tell each other where files are located.

Have you looked at any of the documentation linked at bottom of this page and other places?
