How to use a disk outside of the array?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to install the bitcoin core app and it recommends not using a disk on the array. I've got a disk installed (SDL) but I have no idea how to select it. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions, I realize this isn't unraid specific.

Thanks

Install Unassigned Devices from the Apps page.

Have you read the first post of the Unassigned Devices support thread?

Disks mounted with Unassigned Devices are at the path /mnt/disks

I have not - I'll give that a try. Thanks

should the disk (sdl) show up in mnt/disks/?

Right now I've precleared the disk (again) and it seems to be mounted but nothing shows under mnt/disks/

Are you saying that you formatted the disk in UD after the Preclear, and having done so pressed the Mount button for it in UD?

Yeah - I missed that part. I deleted the preclear log, formatted, and now it's showing up. Thanks.
