shafiq786110
HI I upgraded to 6.9.2 yesterday but when I start my array 6 of the drives are now unmountable, but are detected, no other settings were changed, upgrade went fine, what is causing this and how do I fix it? The parity drive is now also not working Thanks! tower-diagnostics-20220505-0706.zip Edited May 5, 2022 by shafiq786110 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Constant errors with the HBA, post new diags after rebooting since can't see the boot sequence on the previous logs. Quote Link to comment
shafiq786110
Thanks Ive posted 3 diag files, one from after boot, one from after starting the array (when everything mounted properly) and then one from when the disks became unmountable 1.zip 2.zip 3.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
I don't know why the logs aren't showing the boot process from the start, I can't even see the HBA firmware version, but they are still filled with HBA errors, see if it's using the latest firmware, if not upgrade. Quote Link to comment
shafiq786110
Thanks ill give this a go Im still not 100% familiar with these bits, but I'm guessing my card would have had a custom firmware so it would work with Unraid, will upgrading the firmware cause a problem with that? JorgeB
It should be using a standard LSI IT firmware, in the link shows how to list current firmware, post the output here. Quote Link to comment
