Extremely slow parity sync

I had a 2TB drive that was reporting errors, so I replaced it with another 2TB, but the parity sync is now going extremely slowly,  ~250 KB/sec.. 

 

I looked through the syslog and didn't see anything that jumped out at me.. diagnostics are attached. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    Onboard SATA is set to IDE, change to AHCI and try again.

    Thanks.. don't know how I didn't notice it was set that way. I just changed it to AHCI though, and the sync performance is the same.

     

    Going to check again that the cables are good, etc and will report back.

    If it's still slow also a good idea to run a test with the diskspeed docker to make sure all disks are performing normally.

    Update on this.. turns out the "new" drive (actually not-so-new) was no good. Put in a different one, and it's currently syncing at ~30MB/sec
