May 8, 20224 yr Hi all! I'm just jumping into Unraid - I've got an office with about 10 Macs that I've been backing up using the Time Machine server feature in the (now dead) OS X Server app. I've read a few posts on the forum, and followed SpaceinvaderOne's video guide. It does seem to be working OK so far, but I've only configured and backed up a couple of the clients. I've got a user created on the Unraid server for each client. My question is this: I've currently got all my clients backing up to the same share on the Unraid server. They're creating sparsebundles for each client as I would expect. I did see in the guide linked below that I should be also creating a separate share for each client. Is that truly necessary? If yes, what is the advantage of doing so?https://wiki.unraid.net/UnRAID_6/Configuring_Apple_Time_Machine#Guide:_Setting_up_a_Time_Machine_Share_on_your_Unraid_Server Many thanks! AJ
