How long clear usually takes on 18TB?

Wondering how long. Slapped a brand new HGST 550 in there and the clear has been going for 16 hours now.

My 14tb takes a little more than 24 60 hours, I think.

About 52 hours for me, but I wasn't quite getting full speed out of it, note it also took about 82 hours when done through an external enclosure

 

Once you finish step 1, the overall preclear time is approx. 3 times that (steps 1,2,5 all take about the same time).

Thanks for the replies. I was around those times. I never dealt with the larger drives yet, so I was just getting nervous.

It took me ~70 hours to preclear my 18tb Ultrastar DC HC550

for my second identical disk it took me almost the same time

A shucked 18tb WD Elements took almost 82 hours

Yeah, that seems about right.  I never had to clear a drive that large, but the 183 MB/s seems to be a very good average speed.
