Required to change USB port unRAID uses for each update

Featured Replies

I'm running into an issue that is a minor inconvenience, certainly not a "show-stopper".  The unRAID update installation goes smoothly.  If I choose to restart the system, then in the process of booting up the BIOS sees the USB drive unRAID runs from, but doesn't attempt to boot from it.  However, if I choose to just shutdown the system after the update, instead of restarting, then change the USB port that the USB drive is running from, the system boots to unRAID just fine.

Attaching diagnostics for more details.  System is rock stable.  Thanks in advance for any input!

Looks more like a board issue, try updating BIOS to latest.

Updated to latest BIOS.. no luck.  Tried an old Windows trick... disabled Fast Boot.. go figure.  I've been able to reboot directly 3 times now, without any issues.  YAY!
