Cannot run SMB with AFP

I used to be able to just run SMB only and access my tower from my mac, now when I do that nothing shows up in the network drives are of finder. Only when I turn on AFP as well I get the SMB Tower which connects and a Tower which does not. Why do I need to run both just to get the one (smb) working? Is this a bug?

 

Only Tower-SMB works, when I try to connect to Tower it says connection fail

    Post up a log. I don't have that exact issue but I have problems with both AFP and SMB on a Mac. So I'm glad I'm not alone at least :/

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
