Nexius2
Hello, I noticed that my servers won't shutdown. after searching a bit, I found it is because of mounted shares. when I order a shutdown, it stops the arraye and then wait's and I can't the GUI. telnet works fine. if I manualy unmount shares, i continues to shutdown and everything is ok. if I unmount before ordering a shutdown, everything works fine. I could make a script to mount and unmout at array start or stop, but maybe there is a better idea? thanks Quote Link to comment
itimpi
How are the shares in question being mounted? If done via Unassigned Devices plugin then it should handle unmounting automatically during a shutdown. Are you sure you do not have a telnet/console session active with the current directory being on the array as this will also stop the array shutting down correctly. Quote Link to comment
