First time set up UNRAID - it's asking for username and password?

Featured Replies

Is there a default username and password that we have to use for first time set up?

Wiki doesn't help with this:

https://wiki.unraid.net/UnRAID_6_4/Getting_Started

It says:

Registering and Installing Your Key

Upon connecting to the unRAID webGui for the first time, you should be taken to the Registration page. From here, you can register and install either a trial or paid license key.

Mine isn't doing that?  It asks for username and password?

username root

password (just hit enter)

Only root user has access to the webUI and command line

You should set a good password for root.

That is an old wiki

You should start from the wiki in the Documentation linked at bottom of this page.

Please post a screenshot of the message. If this is Unraid 6.10 I have a feeling it is asking you to SET a root password, not provide one.
