Cant Boot to USB

Featured Replies

Every time I try and boot from my USB, I get an error "This is not a bootable disk. Please install a bootable floppy and press any key to try again."

I have tried everything that ive seen, its an insprion 620, updated bios, was able to install windows fresh. Changed the boot order and it still throws the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With the creation tool for Windows, I formatted my flash drive and ran the tool, then the make bootable bat as admin.

I'm also having the same issue.. Just created (6/12/22) a USB boot drive with the UNRAID USB creator tool (and even tried enabling UEFI)

Found the issue...
After investigating both the easy install and manual install methods...
After letting the USB creator do it's thing, there was still a missing step where I had to go onto the USB drive itself and run the make this bootable batch.
The easy creator instructions don't really tell you that.

Thx for the response trurl
