How to remove XMRIG

Featured Replies

Hello,
My server got really slow, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong.

I ran the Fix Common Problems plugin and it mentioned possibility of xmrig running.
I figured it was due to my insecure port forwarding settings and the system got compromised. I turned off the port 80 and 443 on my modem.
Oddly, Unraid wouldn't show CPU load, just showing 0%.

After running htop, I saw XMRIG all over. I immediately killed it, but couldn't figure out where it is running from. Would really appreciate help on cleaning up the system. Please advise.

Attached diagnostics file.
Thank you.

Don't put your server on the internet!!!

I don't see anything loading in go.

Do you have any dockers you don't recognize?
