June 13, 20224 yr Hi all, I'm new-ish to the self managing of servers world. My disk started throwing this error after being offline for about 2 weeks. Rest of the disks are fine. When i try to run the self test, i keep getting the same host reset error. Attached is the test rests. Please let me know what i should do. June 13, 20224 yr Author Hi @trurl, it looks like i can't run the extended test via the gui. I keep getting "Interrupted (host reset)". I've set the Spin Down Delay to "Never".
June 13, 20224 yr Author It never completes @trurl. It shows the "Stop" button as soon as i hit "Start" and then 10-20 seconds later, it shows "Interrupted (host reset)".

June 13, 20224 yr With that large disk it will take many hours and you may not see update on % for a long time if at all. Just let it run until it completes if it will.

June 14, 20224 yr Author Hi @trurl, yes that's the case. I've stopped it and tried running the tests. I can run the tests on the other disks.
June 14, 20224 yr Author Ok update again, i took the array offline. Remove the disk from the assigned pool, started the array in maintenance mode without the disk in the pool, its now showing "Not Installed" in that slot. Now running the enhanced test, it seems to be running fine.
