DerEchte
Hello I'm trying to start Unraid via Legacy Boot, since I had problems via UEFI pass-through my graphics card to the vm. Then I tried to make the USB stick bootable without UEFI, but this does not work. I get the following error in the iso creator. And when I attempt to boot it, I only get the following message. This device is not bootable. Make sure you have a bootable floppy and press any key to try again... What can i do? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Try creating the flash drive manually: https://wiki.unraid.net/USB_Flash_Drive_Preparation Quote Link to comment

itimpi
Are you sure the flash drive is formatted as FAT32? The error message suggest it may not be? Also have you made sure there are no other partitions on the flash drive - this has been known to cause issues in the past. Quote Link to comment

Then i was thinking it was wrong and the second option i can choose is exFAT32, with that one it is not working. See here then i moved back to NTFS. Is the flash drive larger than 32GB, if so you need a 3rd party tool (e.g Rufus) to format to FAT32 as Windows will not do it on drives larger than 32GB. Quote Link to comment
