itimpi
Have you tried simply pressing enter with user=root and password blank? As part of tightening security it is now mandatory to have a password on the root user. Quote Link to comment

Solution JorgeB Posted June 16, 2022 Solution Share Posted June 16, 2022 Do the recovery password procedure anyway, it should ask you to create one after that: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Troubleshooting#Lost_root_Password Quote Link to comment

Not sure what the issue was, but keep in mind that the password you set by running "passwd" will not persist across reboots. It sounds like you have access to the webgui now, so be sure to go to the Users page and set a password for root using the webgui. Changes mae there will persist. Quote Link to comment
