June 16, 20224 yr I have been trying to get this to work, but I am having issues, so far I have taken it out of the box, I have powered down my VM Home Assistant and added a USB extension cable and then plug it into a USB 2 or 3 ports then I when into my VM Config and choose the USB ConBee Device then I powered up my VM Home Assistant - once my HA was powerd up I when and click on my ZigBee device and got the following message and I waited for about 30 seconds and then I got this message I have google the error and it talks about up updating the firmware, but before I go down that route, I want to make sure that so far, I have done everything right. is there anything I have missed ?
June 18, 20224 yr Author ok I got it to work in the end, after following the steps here I ended up reverting to a older version of Unraid. 6.9 - which then allows me to plug and play my Zigbee device and my VM Home Assistant saw it and configured it straight away NOTE: I had to recreate my Home Assistant VM and also some of my dockers like PLEX had to be created.
