May 24, 201115 yr I'm a little OCD with the syslog and noticed this entry: May 24 14:14:15 Tower kernel: mdcmd (433): spindown 2 (Routine) May 24 17:32:42 Tower kernel: mdcmd (434): spindown 0 (Routine) May 24 17:32:42 Tower kernel: mdcmd (435): spindown 4 (Routine) May 24 18:38:15 Tower kernel: NTFS driver 2.1.29 [Flags: R/O MODULE]. (System) The system has not been down in 36 days. Is this just an "info" entry that I've never seen before? Why is the kernel reporting this flag? The USB drive?..no- (formatted Fat32) Other info... shared with a Boxee Box via SMB. (some reports of the Box erasing .jpg/.tbn files from network shares with latest firmware) 2010.3.6 version ntfs-3g driver installed unRAID drives and shares mounted via nfs to Syno NAS' via Syno various scheduled backups are run (not running at time of syslog entry)
