Mirror two identical HDD drives

Featured Replies

Hello

I have bought two 18 TB identical HDD drives, which, if possible, I want to configure to be mirrored in unRaid.

From what I have been able to find on the forum, this should be possible, if these two drives were the only two in my array. Here comes the problem, that I already have a huge array of different size disks running.

So how would one go about solving this? Should I use a raid card, which can do the mirroring and then report it as one drive to unRaid. Or is it possible to have unRaid do this natively?

For now you can only have one array, you could create a two disk raid1 btrfs pool, multiple arrays have been mentioned as a possible future feature.
