metehan Posted June 22, 2022 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Hello dear forum, I have a question, is it possible to boot on an iMac 8.1 or on a macOS Unraid and use it as a server. I created a USB stick with the UNRAID USB Creator and connected it to the iMac and opened the boot menu with the alt key, I see the USB medium but nothing happens when I click on it. Can someone give me a hint what I'm doing wrong. I'm pretty much a newbie in this server area. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
JonathanM Posted June 22, 2022 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Try enabling UEFI boot on the flash drive by renaming the EFI- folder to EFI. No guarantee it will work, but it may go farther. Quote Link to comment
