Plugins and Docker will not update

Featured Replies

Does the searching for the hosts to check for plugin/docker updates occur on the unraid server or the computer running the GUI that is accessing the server?

I ask because I have had varying degrees of success over the years depending on what DNS servers I use for unraid vs what DNS servers I use for my PCs.

Right now I am in a situation where no plugins and no dockers will update.  When I "check for updates" everything just spins forever.  Yet sometimes I will get a notification bubble telling me "Plugin X update available, click here to update."  When I click, no update ever occurs.

I've rebooted the server (this has worked in the past) and it had no effect.

All other hosts on the network can access the entire internet without issue.

Unable.

Clicking on making the diags file pops up the window, and I see "downloading" and the future filename, but nothing ever happens from there.

you can run diagnostics from the command line and the zip will be on the flash drive

Look on the flash drive within the /logs folder.  There should be a zip file dated with the time of when you more or less started the diagnostics collection.

Try closing all open browsers / tabs that are open to the GUI, and reboot the system.

"Reboot the system" -- the server?

Closing all open browsers and re-opening had no effect.

Trying in incognito or a browser you don't normally use might be worth a shot too.  It seems like a browser caching issue.

No effect.

I made a linux boot USB disk and booted to a brand new OS with a browser that had never seen a website before.... Still did not work.

Any other ideas?  Haven't been able to update anything in weeks.
