May 25, 201115 yr Hi guys, having some issues with my cache disk: Latest beta (v5b6 or whatever it is currently) via AFP. Cached speeds: Non-Cached speeds: Straight to cache drive (i.e. cache drive root): Why is the Cached write speed barely any better than the non-cached!?
May 25, 201115 yr Author Is the share configured to use the cache? This is a per share setting. Yup. Time Machine is the non-cached case with the disk disabled. Media share (over two disk) has caching enabled. Small increase in performance, but hardly anything worth bothering about!!

Try starting and stopping the array, and if that does not improve it try restarting the unRAID machine.

June 21, 201115 yr Author Any ideas? Also, new bug: If two AFP shares are accessed at the same time, for example: 1. Time Machine has mounted it's sparseimage 2. Media folder is mounted and being accessed The read/write speed drops to a matter of kb a second which is useless. Ideas? Note: Using b6 atm. Will update to b7 if any changes to AFP have been made.
