Question on Downalods/Unpackrr

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I recently swapped my completed download location to my synology NAS to save on some array space.  Most of my movies come in compressed form and normally unpackrr would extract the files and sonarr would do it's thing prior to mover moving the files to the array.  Now that I have the remote location set as my download completed location, seems that the files are being moved right away (as expected in hindsight).  I was wondering if there's any way to have the files stay in my cache download location while unpackrr does it thing then have the files moved to my synology download share?  Any advice would be appreciated!

Just set the location in Sonarr to your synology. It should work just like it did before except Sonarr will just be moving the files to a different location.

That's what I was doing but unpackerr would wait until moving the files from my cache to the synology before extracting which slows everything down

You can set the delay times in the unpackerr docker. You might also want to be sure the Sonarr path/API is correct in the docker. I don’t think Sonarr should start moving the file until unpackerr sends an API call.

If that doesn’t help you might want to ask about this in the docker support thread. Just click the icon for the docker and select “support”.
