TheAndrewGilbert
I had everything working perfectly fine then I restarted the server trying to get audio functioning within the virtual machine and everything broke. I can get the virtual machine to operate as it did prior to installing the graphics card with VNC graphics. but nothing's happening with the quadro p4000. My logs are apparently 100% full. The log only has this: AndrewCityHall kernel: vfio-pci 0000:04:00.0: BAR 1: can't reserve [mem 0x4000000000-0x400fffffff 64bit pref] Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. andrewcityhall-diagnostics-20220629-0058.zip Quote Link to comment

TheAndrewGilbert
Unfortunately unless I did something wrong I still have the same outcome. Tight VNC and Chrome remote desktop refused to connect. As a part of my troubleshooting in the BIOS I set it to only be allowed to boot to the "CPU" graphics, and is still set. As well as having a dummy plug in one of the DisplayPort ports. un 29 10:50:18 AndrewCityHall kernel: vfio-pci 0000:04:00.0: vgaarb: changed VGA decodes: olddecodes=io+mem, decodes=io+mem:owns=none Jun 29 10:50:18 AndrewCityHall kernel: br0: port 2(vnet0) entered blocking state Jun 29 10:50:18 AndrewCityHall kernel: br0: port 2(vnet0) entered disabled state Jun 29 10:50:18 AndrewCityHall kernel: device vnet0 entered promiscuous mode Jun 29 10:50:18 AndrewCityHall kernel: br0: port 2(vnet0) entered blocking state Jun 29 10:50:18 AndrewCityHall kernel: br0: port 2(vnet0) entered forwarding state Jun 29 10:50:19 AndrewCityHall kernel: vfio-pci 0000:04:00.0: vfio_ecap_init: hiding ecap 0x19@0x900 Edited June 29, 2022 by TheAndrewGilbert Quote Link to comment
TheAndrewGilbert
It looks like I have other issues to still be able to VNC in to the VM but RDP works Quote Link to comment
