array gone after parity failure

Featured Replies

Hello!

I hope someone is willing to help me - I'm at a loss. I don't know what happend: This morning it seems, I lost both parity drives due to a read/write failure. I did not reboot boot thought I could just stop the array and set parity to "no device" ... an rebuild it afterwards. as soon as I did set "no device" all other disks set themselves to no device also. I'm not touching anything right now - just hope I can somehow re-assign the drives.

Server Name "CMNSVR01"

Unraid Version 6.10.02

10 Disks 4/12/14 TB

2 Parity Drives 14 TB

Any help appreciated.

Thx

Problem with the controller:

Jul 2 04:16:27 CMNSVR01 kernel: smartpqi 0000:0b:00.0: controller is offline: status code 0x1111
Jul 2 04:16:27 CMNSVR01 kernel: smartpqi 0000:0b:00.0: controller offline

Power cycle the server and if the controller comes online, and it should, post new diags after array start.

Hello!

All works fine now. I did rebuild the parity drive (both at the same time). And now ... 25 hours later ... I reactivated docker. All good. Thank you so much for the super-fast help!!

Cheers
