July 8, 20224 yr Currently away, don't have access to the machine physically so providing all I can. So, about a week ago I started being unable to access Plex and other dockers running on the server. I logged into a Windows VM running on the server and accessed the WebUI, checked logs, restarted docker, etc. and still no luck so I decided to reboot. I clicked reboot and waited for things to come back online. Unfortunately, things got worse as the VM came back online, but now I could not even connect to the unraid webUI. Tried pinging and nothing. I then accessed the router settings and upon looking at connected devices I found the server with the following details: IPv4 Address 169.254.213.100 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 IPv4 DNS 192.168.1.1 Ipv4 Address Allocation Static Lease Type Static DHCP lease time remaining Never IPv6 LAN Prefix 2600:XXXX:XXXX:4b00::/64 IPv6 Global IPv6 Type / Address Allocation Stateless IPv6 link-local :: IPv6 DNS 2600:XXXX:XXXX:4b00::1 Network Connection Bridge Ping Test Test Connectivity Time on the network 5 day(s) 22 hour(s) 51 minutes 32 seconds As you can see it seems like it isn't getting an IP...curious how the VM is yet still able to connect and be accessible if it's setup in unraid...And for comparison, the VM shows up as well, but shows dynamic address allocation, DHCP lease type, and has an IPv4 address that is part of the defined ipv4 address range (192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.254). Any ideas? Can I fix remotely or will I need to wait until I can physically access the machine? Let me know if there are any other details I can provide.
