Dockers erased every restart

Featured Replies

So I've got a real odd issue. Every time I restart my server. When it comes back up all Dockers are gone. I've swapped a new flash drive, deleted docker.img, I don't see anything obvious in the logs. It's easy enough to reinstall apps but it's seriously getting old to reinstall 30 Dockers everytime I restart or have a power outage. Anyone have any suggestions to try.

You have 2 pools, cache and cacheb. None of your shares currently have any files on cacheb. Doesn't look like any of your shares are configured to use cacheb. What can you tell us about that pool?

What do you get from command line with this?

OK so I took my array down for a little bit today and started it back up and then dockers are gone again so it doesnt seem to be JUST on restarts....does anyone have any other guesses? @trurl @Squid

Docker image was created new at first array start after boot:

Jul 14 17:46:10 Tower emhttpd: shcmd (89): /usr/local/sbin/mount_image '/mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img' /var/lib/docker 20
Jul 14 17:46:10 Tower root: Creating new image file: '/mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img' size: 20G

This means one didn't exist, maybe you have some script deleting the image on array stop/shutdown?

Post new diags after this last boot to see if the same thing happened.
