unassigned disk utilization notification

Featured Replies

hey just wondering if anyone has or could come up with a script or a way to get notifications for unassigned drive utilization.

so im using the unassigned devices/plus plugin to mount 2 drives (one to store update and vm backups, and one for my shinobi docker to store the camera recordings to instead of filling up my array), that's all working good, however my shinobi likes to just "forget" about files its written and then fills up the drive, that itself isn't a problem as i can go into the cli and delete the files. what is a problem is unraid doesn't seem to be able to send me a notification (i have pushbullet enabled for all notifications except plugin and docker updates, witch happen automatically at night during backup) when the drive gets to 70% (witch is my global default). so is there a way within unraid or the unassigned devices plugin or if someone has or could make a script (either for unraid via the user scripts, or the unasigned devices plugin) that could do this, as currently the only way i ever find out the drive is full is when i have to go into shinobi to look at the cameras and find the last time it recorded a file was a week ago

sorry for the long explanation in advance, but im a believer that details always help
