May 31, 201115 yr Ok, so i currently have an ASUS 890GX-USB3 AM3 board (can't remember the exact model number) and appears to have issues with the size of the Option Rom on it. I currently cannot run my onboard in AHCI mode or my SAS Addon Card BIOS won't load. I've been looking into a new board...thinking about a Server Board, but they're either very expensive, not avaliable or not suitable (i live in Western Australia, so hard to get some stuff here) The main things i want are onboard video, 3 PCIe 4x or faster slots and a decent amount of onboard SATA (6 is fine) I found this gigabyte board http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3855#sp which looks pretty good, even though it is only mATX. Not much else with the same PCIe Slots for that price range (~$150 AUD) Just wondering if anyone has had experiance with the new Z68 Chipsets and UnRaid, and am i likely to run into the same issue with the Option Rom again? I have a second SAS card that i will most likely install soon-ish. So yea, any comments or suggestions on boards?
