I did a checkdisk a few days ago, it found a few erros on my 1st data drive, had to correct them, but the ATA5 error was before that. I also added another 2TB hard drive last week, checked all my connections, everything looks good. The error went away for a few days, but now they are back. Any ideas? syslog-2011-06-01.txt
June 2, 201115 yr IDK of a command for that. Usually you can trace this in the syslog. But yours doesn't show it. Post SMART reports for both drives.
June 2, 201115 yr Author Ok, i think its disk 1... When I copy stuff from disk 2 to disk 6, all is ok. Disk 1 to disk 6, the error appears every minute non-stop. thanks!
June 2, 201115 yr Author I'm supposed to get a new HDD this week or next week, we will see if it solves the problem.
