heres my info:

unRaid 4.7

Motherboard: Supermicro MBD-X7SBE with 1 SAS Expansion card (in a Norco 4220 case)

CPU: Dual core pentium

RAM: 8gigs

1st 4 HDD are connected directly to the motherboard

The 4 others are on the SAS card

Attached is my syslog.

I did a checkdisk a few days ago, it found a few erros on my 1st data drive, had to correct them, but the ATA5 error was before that. I also added another 2TB hard drive last week, checked all my connections, everything looks good. The error went away for a few days, but now they are back.

Any ideas?

Is there any command to check which disk is on ata5?

IDK of a command for that. Usually you can trace this in the syslog. But yours doesn't show it. Post SMART reports for both drives.

Ok, i think its disk 1...

When I copy stuff from disk 2 to disk 6, all is ok. Disk 1 to disk 6, the error appears every minute non-stop.

thanks!

I'm supposed to get a new HDD this week or next week, we will see if it solves the problem.
