It's been 2 months since my first post and everything has been great.

 

I added an Adaptec 1430SA to my initial build to get ready for expansion. Then, to test it I added an old 160GB drive and put some files on it. When a newegg deal for 2TB HITACHI 5K3000 came up, I got one and tested drive upgrade by replacing the 160GB. It worked!

 

I have also added a hotswap bay which I am using to backup critical data for storage offsite.

 

I have had 2 monthly parity checks now, so I am attaching the syslog for certification of the motherboard.
