July 25, 20223 yr Hi I have 10 * 2 TB Hard drives. Today I was copying some stuff over the network and all of a sudden see disk 8 missing. Is this because of the Marvel Chipset that I am using? What is the resolution. Kindly help Attached are the logs for the same tower-diagnostics-20220725-0325.zip

Possibly, disk look healthy, but diags are after rebooting so we can't see what happened, rebuild the disk and if it happens again grab diags before rebooting. https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Rebuilding_a_drive_onto_itself
July 25, 20223 yr Author Did the procedure as mentioned. The drive again went to the disabled state. Please find attached the logs before the reboot tower-diagnostics-20220725-0516.zip Edited July 25, 20223 yr by sabarirjpm
July 25, 20223 yr Community Expert Unclear if the problem is the disk/connection or controller since the driver for that controller crashes when there's a problem, I would suggest swapping cables with a disk connected to the onboard ports and trying again, but that controller should be replaced when possible anyway, with one of the recommended models.
