[SOLVED] Remove HPA before or after replacing Mobo?

Yea yet another HPA question. I searched the forums, but couldn't find an answer to this.

 

Im replacing the gigabyte mobo in my unraid server, one of the drives have HPA on it. My question is if i should remove the HPA before doing the mobo-switch, or if its okay to do it afterwards?

 

Im not running version 4.7 yet so the array is currently running happily with the HPA file on it (and yea i know im late to the party, but its been a busy year so far :) ).

 

Any help will be appreciated.
