July 29, 20223 yr I have a 4TB Parity Drive and want to upgrade my parity drive to a 8TB Parity drive then reuse the old Party drive in the Array . where can i find step by step on how to do this without losing data. Thanks All Edited July 29, 20223 yr by dlfz.Network
July 29, 20223 yr Community Expert Just upgrade parity then after the new parity finishes syncing add the old parity as a new disk, if you want to play it safer start the array in maintenance mode for the new parity sync and keep old parity intact until it's done, but the array will not be accessible during the sync.
