Hi,

 

Hoping you guys can help, my server has been crashing randomly for no apparent reason (nothing in the syslog, no attempt to reboot, just shuts down) as well as throwing out machine check errors fairly regularly. I've tried a few things but come up dry.

    That suggests a hardware issue, PSU or board would be the main suspects, could also be the UPS if you have one.
