hi ;)

so, i was thinking of making a server running unRaid.. but, before i do so, i hope someone will answer these few questions.:

1. What if the usb-stick with unRaid os breaks or stops working?

2. How big can the parity-drive be? can i use a drive larger then 2tb?

thanks ;)

1. What if the usb-stick with unRaid os breaks or stops working?

There is the option to buy two keys at checkout, so you can have a backup.

Also, Tom (the developer) is generally very accommodating if your USB drive breaks... if you email him and explain what happened, he will usually kindly send another key file.

Can currently be up to 2.2Tb if you do some clever formatting tricks on a 3Tb drive for example.  There is however no benefit to having a larger parity drive in of itself.  It must however be at least as large as the largest other drive in the array.
