Short answer: Yes

 

 

Long answer: Yes, but do not do this... unless you have VPN or the like set up to your network.  unRAID is not set up to be secure when put out on the world wide web.

I have a farm of supermicro servers and i remote in through a secure Cisco VPN tunnel. Once i am in, i can see all my servers and IPMI remotes.

 

not only is the unRAID not web secure, the IPMI is not web secure.

 

You may not be as big as sony, but hackers want to see what you have on your server.. they will find a way in if they can get at it.
