Unraid Randomly disables Disks

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I've been using Unraid v6.11 for a little bit now and have found recently that a disk will randomly be disabled, I thought at first it was a bad upgrade when adding in a new disk, I have rebuilt the array successfully 3 times now and it doesn't seem to be an issue with the drives but am looking for any advice on how to potentially resolve the issue. Thank you in advance!

Please let me know if any specific diagnostic logs are needed. Thank you !

Bad connections are much more common than bad disks and by far the main reason people come here asking for help with disabled disks.

Attach diagnostics to your NEXT post in this thread

Here are the logs attached.

delete lots of attached files that should have been a single zip

  • Community Expert

I deleted all that since nobody is going to download them anyway.

Diagnostics is a single zip file. If it seems to you that diagnostics is a lot of files and folders, it is because your computer automatically opens zip files. Find that single diagnostics zip file in your downloads and attach that single diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post.
