August 11, 20223 yr My 8-month-old 870 Evo has suddenly started reallocating sectors on a daily basis. 39 reallocated so far. Is this something I should get warrantied by Samsung? Or is this normal behavior? The 850 Evo and 860 Evo in my system are older with more reads, writes, and uptime, but both have 0 reallocated sectors.
August 31, 20223 yr I had a pair of these as cache start to show similar errors and after much research found they needed a FW upgrade to work better with Linux. I had to pull them and update the FW using their Windows program.
