August 15, 20223 yr Hello, i have a 1TB cache drive in my unRAID server, which is generally working fine. Unfortunately, since last week i am experiencing errors because of a full cache drive, when there are more than 100GB free. I tried to read myself through the forum, but i can't identify a solution. Please help me out. Thanks in advance 😀 datengrab-diagnostics-20220815-1820.zip
August 15, 20223 yr Author Earlier this day i had this issue when trying to create a folder on the cache drive using mkdir. After a reboot this seems to be gone. I now get it when i try to create a folder from Windows 10 on my mainly used share (cache enabled) via samba. When i try to install a docker container which needs to create a folder on the share, it fails with the message: No space left on device. Oh.... I just tried to create a folder using a Krusader docker directly on the cache drive. That worked. Now that i think about it, it might also be a share issue Edited August 15, 20223 yr by sammmm

August 15, 20223 yr Author oh yeah, just tried to install a docker which needs to create a folder on the share. This time i took /mnt/cache/Datengrab/blah instead of /mnt/user/Datengrab/blah. Worked
August 15, 20223 yr Community Expert There used to be a bug where Unraid would take the larger of the Minimum Free Space values for the share and the pool in deciding whether a file would fit on the pool. These settings should be independent of each other - one applying to the pool and the other to the array but I wonder if that is not how it is being handled.
August 15, 20223 yr Author oh damn, that's it! I just decreased it, and now it seems to work. Me so stupid 😶
