Cannot connect to share folder from MacOS

Featured Replies

Hello there!

I must admit, I am not an expert. In fact, I am very novice on Mac things.

So I just install as trial the UNRAID on his last stable version.

I create a simple share and a one user.

Then try to connect it to that share.

But I can't.

Please see these screenshots.

When I tried it with these addresses: 192.168.2.150 and smb://ARK._smb._tcp.local the system told this:

There are no shares available or you are not allowed to access them on the server. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem.

When I tried with these addresses: smb://192.168.2.150/backup and smb://ARK/backup the system told this:

Check the server name or IP address, and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator.

Any help, will be really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Did you set the share to export? Share -> SMB security settings

Hello JorgeB, I didn't. But now I did. And now is working.

OMG! Thanks.

I cannot see that option before. I mean I see it, but didn't change it.

Anyway. Thanks again.

Till the next one.
