Fresh install, RAID built, RAID/Cache formatted, Directories created. I want to swap RAID1 cache SSDs

Featured Replies

I just completed a fresh install and would like to swap my RAID1 1TB SSDs for 800GBs.     What's the correct procedure to avoid rebuilidng RAID and maintaining default created directories.

No way to replace with smaller drives. You will have to copy or move the data off and install drives as new.

For more detailed instructions attach diagnostics to your NEXT post in this thread.

There is not any user data on the device aside from the default created folders.

If you have enough SATA ports you can add one or both 800GB devices and remove the other ones, one a time.
