can't access unraid main page 5.0 beta 7

Recommended Posts

I upgraded to 5.0 beta 7 and everything was working fine.  I then added some unmenu plugins and now I can't access the unraid main page, its all blank.

Installed plugins

apcupsd 3.14.3

istat

ds_store

unraid status email

monthly parity check

unraid over temp shutdown

clean power down

smart tools

I think thats it, by the way i'm using a Mac

Should I try stopping the array and rebooting?  I still have access to unmenu

Solution is easy.  Enable "short tags" in the version of php you installed.

I didn't think I installed PHP but when I try this I get this, do it from telnet

root@Tower:~# sed -i "s/^short_open_tag = Off/short_open_tag = On/" /boot/custom/php/php.ini

sed: can't read /boot/custom/php/php.ini: No such file or directory

root@Tower:~#

looks like you did not install php, (or unRAID-web, which includes php)

Is emhttp still running?

Type

ps -ef | grep emhttp | grep -v grep

to see if it is.

If not, restart it with

nohup emhttp &

Post a syslog, something else might be going on.

This is what I get when I restarted it

root@Tower:~# nohup: ignoring input and appending output to `nohup.out'

Should I try restarting the server?

If it was already running (and it was), you would have had to kill it before attempting to re-start it.

Looks like a lot of afpd errors to me.  (and since I've never used a MAC, you'll need to find an apple guru.)

I think I found out something, as soon as the server boots up I can go to the main page using http://Tower:8080/unraid_main but if I click on another link in unmenu and try to go back and click on unRaid Main it doesn't work.  However if I type in my IP it works fine I just don't have access to unmenu.

Any idea?

you have more than once device with the same MAC address or IP address on your lan perhaps?

I don't think that's it, I can still access the server with http://Tower:8080/.  Its just when I click on the unmenu link that says unRAID Main I just get a blank white page but all the other links work fine

Does not work for me either.  The new 5.0X does not work in an iframe.

So does this mean you will fix it  ;D

If possible, at some point.  It might not be possible with the 5.0 code.
