confused on cache drive

Featured Replies

i have been running unraid 4.7 pro for a while now... just added a new drive.....as all were full.....so i started the mover to clear the cache drive(it was full as well) and i noticed it was trying to move files to the full disks and not the new empty one.......on the main gui page it shows all my other disks as 0 free space......but mover is still trying to use them.. why is that??????????

Sounds like the split level is set wrong.  Do a search on the forum for what you need to do to fix the issue.

It's a share setting problem. Post the settings for the shares you are using.

The drive will not be written to unless it has more than

10737418240 kilobyte of free space

10737418240 kilobyte = 10 terabyte

I cannot be absolutely certain, but unless you have a time-machine, I doubt you have a single drive larger than 10TB in your server.

Fix the min-free-space and it might work as desired.
