Avoiding unassigned drive clear after an old backup restore

Featured Replies

I have restored my UNRAID boot flash drive from a 2 month old backup. In those 2 months I have added a drive. Upon reboot, my array is stoppped as planned nd the new drive is unassigned as normal. But is there a way not tell unraid it already have all the correct infos in parity and the new drive and not to format it. If not possible will I loose data or will it erase it and then rebuild it from parity ?

I still have the old flash files (up to date) maybe I can merge some files to tell UNRAID the current status ?

The config folder from your flash drive has all of your configuration, so you should use that instead of your old backup.
